Guacamelee is good. Odyssey, while being a great game, is huge. So, don't be surprised if you feel a bit fatigued with everything it has in it. I enjoyed Valhalla more than Odyssey and Origins combined. And I love both Odyssey and Origins.

Thanks Key! Depending on how it goes with Odyssey I will get those two also.

Btw, how huge are we talking here? I thought God of war was the biggest game I've ever played but it was so great I didn't mind at all.

Let's see

Oh I'd just like to inform everyone that only yesterday, after about a year and a half of owning the PS4, have I figured out that to turn it on, you don't have to press the power button on the PS4 itself, you can press the playstation button on the controller.

My mind was blown. Life will never be the same again.

And now I'm addicted to this:

Some kind of crazy combination of arcade and pinball. Super fun.

I thought there'd be about 100 games as fun as this one on PS4 to be honest.

Finished. Delightful! Just big enough not to overstay its welcome. Not too difficult but still challenging enough not to be boring. Highly recommended for anyone into arcade games.

Well, came to a frustrating and sad end here, went through about 60-70 per cent I guess. It was getting progressively more difficult but then I finally came to a level that was impossible to pass. Or my dexterity simply isn't sufficient or my controller is screwed, either way, after spending about 40 minutes trying to pass it, I thought it just wasn't worth the frustration. Adios Guacamelee! It was fun while it lasted. Shame really.

Nah, 40 minutes is more than enough time to waste on a single level, ain't nobody got time for that shit.

Ok so I did go back and try again and managed to pass the level so I played another hour or so before getting stuck again! Those burning vines are a pain in the ass. Anyways, I'll take it easy and try again every once in a while, trying not to get too frustrated.

In the meantime, to satiate my metroidvania hankerin', I bought Hollow night and Dead cells, so excited to start those...

I also tried to play a bit of Assassin's creed Odyssey and it looks cool although less intuitive than God of war (I have no idea how to equip weapons? They expect you to have played the previous titles maybe?). I roamed around a bit and then couldn't figure out how to kill some wild dog or wolf or something which seems to bite you once and kill you (the swords don't seem to work). Will come back to it sporadically.

Oh and I also bought and tried Lego Marvel Super Heroes, but for some reason (much like Knack II and Ratchet and Clank) 3D arcades don't appeal to me much at the moment.

Oh and I'm still playing Little nightmares, which is comparatively chill as opposed to the above titles.
