If that game isn't amazing I think the gaming community is going to quit and stick exclusively to anti-SJW Youtube.

The audio mix on this demo is pretty annoying with some overlapping dialogue, but this made the game look way better than the trailer. Should be a solid RPG, out in 4 months. |
When I copped MK I also got Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, a GTA clone I didn't even know existed until a week ago. I don't know how it will stack up against the GTA V or SR 2 or 4 but after a few hours I say it does a lot of the serious storytelling that GTA 4 tried to do a lot better, with more engaging, better acted characters as well. And it does this while being what looks like a John Woo movie set in Hong Kong where characters switch between English and Cantonese at the drop of a hat. That's like the most perfect possible thing for me right now. Not to mention the gameplay seems to be basically a 3D beat em up/Arkham hybrid that's surprisingly fresh for that description.

Of course this game is Ori-approved.

The only GTA stories I cared about were 3 and Vice City because I was a literal child.
I play the games for the driving and the simulation. |
I drooled watching some gameplay on YT of GTA5. My computer isn't powerful enough to play it, though.

The game scales pretty well. You might be able to run it with low settings.
I just run Normal Textures and minimum draw distance so I can utilize my 144hz(fps) monitor. Online also saps like 20fps from me for some reason. |

I'll be buying a new PC sometime this year, and I'll make sure it has the proper specs. Starting to get into gaming more now that I have a Steam account.

GTA:V is on sale today on Steam so I bought it, even though I've not got the PC specs yet to run it. Will remedy that this summer.

With my huge "promotion" this year, some long-neglected amenities are going to be purchased.

You will love GTA V. Story is good. Characters are memorable. You'll love Trevor. One of my favorite GTA characters ever.
|
You're the third person to directly mention to me how amazing Trevor is.

Jumped back into the Borderlands remaster on PS4 and I'm loving it. It's a pretty solid remaster too. Love the original to death. Been doing all the side quests I can and been getting some awesome weapons. My current load out is pretty sweet. Sniper, SMG, shotgun and an assault rifle. Cant ****ing wait for Borderlands 3.
|
If you're gonna get Borderlands 3, please pirate it. Don't give Pitchford/Gearbox any of your money. The harm that they've done to their employees and to the industry is ****ing inexcusable.

*looks at receipt for B3 preorder*
Oh well. |
****ing pre-order nerds.

Oh, and he also sucker punched the guy who voiced Claptrap for calling him out on his creepy bull****. |
Even I want to punch Claptrap sometimes.

As we remember from a previous discussion of the morality of spending money on yourself when there are people starving in the world Kiiii does not understand that his actions or inactions have consequences.

If that's where this conversation is headed, count me out. It's unnecessary and certainly was not my intention when I made my original post. Read it anyway you want.

You know what they say about intentions and infernal expressways.

Holy **** you guys are mad.
There's better **** to be mad about lately imo... |
I'll bet you preordered Borderlands 666 too didn't you?
|
No I played like 15 minutes of BL2 demo on Xbox and dropped it way back.

Then the terrorists won.
