not yet - making my way up

and I didn't like 2 much - have yet to beat it cos it's quite boring and filled with psychobabble

Eh, I had it on PC. I actually hated it. I wasn't going to play the 2nd, until my roommate convinced me it was good. Now I'm hooked.

I wish they would leave the series intact, though metal gear rising looks pretty badass

I'll tell them to leave the series intact when they make a bad console game. :p

Anyone here have a decently powerful gaming computer? (+ that doesn't have Mass Effect 2?)

Speaking of Mass Effect 2, i'm finding the game surprisingly boring. It's just the same thing over and over

Talk about space history for 10 mintues, walk down linear hallways shooting mechs, find person, talk about space history for 10 minutes, get assignment before they join you, go back to normandy.

I know that was really general, but the game doesn't feel so much like an rpg as just an awkward shooter. I never played the first one either, but people were calling this the best game of all time.

I think the reason so many people love the ME series (myself included) is because of the amazing and expansive universe bioware has created, it's just generally really engaging to me and I think the plot is better than any sci fi movie in decades. If you didn't have an appreciation for that, the game would probably just be a boring shooter.

Knock the difficulty up a bit. It makes it more fun.
The first game was generally better than the second, in my opinion anyway.
I thoroughly enjoyed both of them.

Anyways, today, I bought...

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions (Xbox 360)
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (Xbox 360)
Rock Band 3 (Xbox 360)

Now, I have to buy Rock Band, Rock Band 2 and Lego Rock Band to get the import codes for those games.
Unless, anyone that has an import code that they don't plan on using that I could use. It would be much appreciated.
