What I mean is Titanfall will unseat Call of Duty in terms of multiplayer first person shooters, especially after having a go with Call of Duty: Ghosts just now. Holy crap I cannot believe how awful it is on PC.

Low field of view, hideous textures, awful optimization that had my FPS all over the place and very little new content to differentiate it from the last 6 Call of Duty's.

I'm saving most of my money for the PS4, and so I just bought this for $5 (very inexpensive) on the Xbox marketplace.
It took, hilariously, FIVE SECONDS to download onto my 360.
I can say with confidence that this is one of the greatest, and certainly one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played. After having played it for a bit, I feel like I robbed someone getting this game for $5.

I LOVE that you noticed the low field of view and FPS. That's the kind of technical gameplay elements that I complain about that no one else cares about or notices. Games like Halo have the FOV at 70 and it's SO irritating!

And I don't really care what a game's FPS is, but it HAS to be constant. Gameplay comes way before graphics, not the other way around!

Banished (2014)

My first real game of 2014 and so far it's pretty good. Basically it's a survival/ village builder, but don't go into it thinking it's Sim City but in ye olde times because it's not. Nor is it much like the Civilization series, but rather this weird hybrid of all three. It can be pretty unforgiving though because the villagers of my first village of Dog Bollock all died during the first winter, and there wasn't an option to have them go all Donnor Party on the dead (at least none that I found).

Definitely worth the $20 if you're after something a little more slow paced and strategic.

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze

Playing with my brother, this one is tough. Just like the Wii verison, which was excellent.

Wait a min. You start playing an MMORPG. Key words massive multiplayer and you want to play solo. That goes against the point of the genre. Socialize and learn to group with others.

Also I thought Titanfall was only coming out for PC and Xbone . If you are saving to get a PS4 for that game you are SOL.

Been playing a bit of Far Cry 3 again, not really taking it very seriously though. Mostly just running around like Rambo and hunting.

Oh whoops, yeah I said my last post wrong. I meant to say that I'm buying Titanfall because it's one of the only good games coming out soon. I'm buying a PS4 to play Destiny with one of my close friends. I'm just getting Titanfall for PC.

Far cry3 is a great game i don't like.
i own it and played it a bit and it looks great and the gameplay is good especially the sneaking element it has i play that game like metal gear lol

but as great as it is i don't like it for wthvr reason i think it's cause it lacks more factions and more options to shape the story cause it's a sandbox game but the story is pretty linear
