BTW, in FF Tactics, I turned my Squires into Knights, and then got one of them to Monk. I gotta say, Monks start off weak, but that Wave Punch thing is fucking disgusting. Even without a sword like the Knights have, she deals more damage than them, and at a range. Plus, I used her Knight EXP to give her the ability to wear Knight armor across all jobs, so I've got the main flaw of the Monk job covered as well. After I unlock all the Monk abilities, I'll probably turn her into a magic user with Martial Arts equipped.

Also, I tried turning one of my Squires into an Archer, but gave up after a few battles and just made him a Knight. I dunno, Archers just seem really underpowered. And it's annoying as fuck when I have to spend multiple turns setting up a shot against enemies that are running all over the place, trying to keep my allies out of his line of fire so that they don't get hit, only to do like 15 damage tops.

Suikoden 2 is awesome. I love that series to death. The vast amount of characters you can have in your party, the RTS elements, and the OCD-friendly/unfriendly aspect of trying to gather every single character are like crack to me.

I only played Suikoden I, and the moment you get your castle and start recruiting the 100+ playable characters was one of my favorite RPG experiences. Feels epic.

I haven't played it yet, but by the way you guys describe the series, it sounds like it'll be my next addiction. :laughing:

First one I played was 4, and instead of a castle you get a ****ing galleon and get to sail on the ****ing ocean. I almost busted a nut.

Do you get a castle in 2?

I'm still playing it and I'm not that far yet, so I don't know.

Reminds me of Disgea where you can get so many playable characters.

The Mass Effect trilogy was added to the EA Vault. I know what I'm going to be for the rest of the week.
