Fallout 4 is a great game for what it is, but I found it overall to be more disappointing than something I wanted. Don't get me wrong, I did love my initial playthrough, and I did put almost 100 hours into the game if I remember correctly. I played through the DLC as well and loved the **** out of it. But as a whole, the game just fell short and it's the reason I'll always consider Fallout 3 and New Vegas the best Fallout games ever made.

Wait till you do a unarmed crit build in Fallout 2, breh. By the end, the west coast is covered in eyeballs.

4 def didn't offer enough new mechanics to even justify its existence especially since idgaf about building a settlement

agreed. strongly.

Fallout 3 is definitely my favorite because of the setting and the atmosphere. Plus it was the first Fallout game I ever played and it will always have a special place in my heart.

I still think Oblivion>Skyrim though so what do I know

Why this? The leveling system? Cause that's the only thing I can think of that was better.

New Vegas was the best rpg out of them all.
F4 was the best shooter.
I only recently got the dlc to new vegas - played the game multiple times before but without any. If you don't have them, get them. Seriously. The ultimate edition can be bought online for less th an 10$, it includes them all, get it if you don't already have it.
It is possible I posted about it here before, but when it comes to fallout 4, there is a mod.. that changes everything. Well, not literally, but enough to get excited about it. And when it works, it works REALLY WELL. It's called sim Settlements and you can get it here. As an added bonus, it doesn't clash with achievements, most game changing mods do.
Generally town building is very fun, if rather clunky. With 30 settlements available around boston and several more with the DLC, there's quite a bit of building to be done, but.. well, after a while it really gets old. With Sim Settlements, your settlers will build their own homes, fill them up with clutter and will keep upgrading them if they are happy enough and/or employed - there's a hidden system for that.
Here's a couple of photos of my spectacle island settlement, created 100% with this mod - by designating plots for specific businesses/homes/agriculture, and leaving them alone for a while. Most homes are lvl1/2, when they get to lvl3 they get cool upgrades like they're suddenly built under a huge billboard, or get a 2nd story. The stores work, the clutter inside the homes is generated by a script and no, you can't steal all their aluminum and adhesive ;)

Generally it's super fun to visit your settlement to see how much it has developed.. assuming everything works correctly. This mod is constantly updated, fixes are being applied etc. a friend of mine has no issues, for me there were some, for example Far Harbor settlements wouldn't build anything on commercial plots.. don't know why.
Oh and naturally, you can mix this with the old settlement building method if you want.
Anyway, it is really worth a shot.

I'm finally bothering to play something again after months of barely having any interest in games.
BlazBlue Chronophantasma Extend is the one I'm obsessing over right now.
Really confusing fighting game that gets a lot better once you get used to all of the crazy animations and the overcomplicated fighting system.
I'm only able to use 4 characters yet, since they're all so weird and so very different from each other.

Oh and another thing. I don't hope it's inappropriate to post it here, but I'm currently working on this silly hobby game project in MegaZeux.
It's no where near finished, but I'm having a ton of fun putting it together. The working title is "Mind".

Metroid Prime 2. The pacing is awful so far. The first game had some ingenious boss battles early on, but this game refuses to be interesting. I don't think I can continue playing this one.

I prefer the Metroid games with the WiiMote. Aiming feels a lot better. Same goes for RE4.

I'm playing Eye of The Beholder in DOSBox. My consoles bore me senseless for the time being, so I'm trying to find some old dusty PC games that might not bore me. This one is somewhat interesting, but also clearly designed by trolls. Some of those navigation puzzles with invisible, soundless teleporters that will have you not even realizing that you've been moved on the map... they drive me nuts!
