It's that old PS2 game where you sort of dash around in the air, from enemy to enemy, I think? I remember the demo being pretty damn hard. I'm terrible at games like that, so I'd never even consider trying the full version. The game is pretty rare now anyway, I think.

Yeah, it's basically Shinobi but with more jumping. :thumb:

I'm trying to think of what the most difficult game I've completed is. I play lots of games that are sort of hard, but the harder they are, the worse I am at them.

When I play Doom 2, Final Doom, Rise of the Triad, Duke Nukem 3D or Shadow Warrior, I usually only allow myself to save at the start of every level. Sometimes I even commit suicide at the starts of every new level so that I have to start with just a hand gun. Those games aren't all that hard though, except the Final Doom map pack called The Plutonia Experiment.

I probably felt pretty pleased with myself when I completed Realms of Arkania 3 without any guides back in the late 90's. Last time I tried to go back to it, I found it overwhelmingly complicated

I can complete Gun Bird on one credit. That's the only even slightly badass thing I can accomplish. But the game isn't really as hard as your average arcade shooter, so... Yeah... I'm no gaming prodigy

Omg, Gun Bird! I used to play that at the local arcade with my dad. Good times.

you get so much freedom in these games without the graphical restrictions

but mostly I started up again because they're fairly easy to code and I like having something I can work with as I teach myself

What are some good ones? I'm always up for new nerdistry.

I can officially say Dark Souls II & III are fucking incredible games and whoever gave up on it because it's too hard is a pussy who needs to loosen their cheeks and let the stick out already.

Old 2D shooters like that are one of my favorite types of game.
Good fun and usually some pretty neat artwork and groovy video game music.

Playing more DS wouldn't accomplish much since the game put it there.
