Music Banter - What Game Are You Playing Right Now?

Competitive video games just bore me straight up. I prefer playing defensively, and like no competitive video games value defense enough to maintain my attention.

There's lots of fighting games out there that heavily reward defensive play. I myself am a lame-o Rosalina main in smash.

Define "poke before a fight". I struck on the tactic of putting pressure on the minions with the splash damage, but never really switched weapons unless I had to. Should I have done that but switched to the midi gun when it was time to fight a champion or a turret? Or am I still off base?

I'm usually the same with playing defensively. I just suck at being proactive so I love to turtle in an RTS until I have a massive army that just rofl-stomps on all of my computer adversaries.

A. You need to last hit the minions, this is not optional, you must learn how to farm even if that means grinding it out in a custom game
(Seriously very very important)

B. You don't ALWAYS want to push and spamming rockets on the creeps will push, you will become more vulnerable to ganks

C. you will run out of mana which can be as bad as being low health as you'll have to back to base

You'd best brush up on it then if you want to get into these kinds of games. Honestly, I think that's one of the more understated reasons why it can be hard to get into multiplayer games, having to learn the language. At least if you are playing with pubbies.

BTW what percentage of the player base are whiny twats who turn on caps lock and bitch incessantly whenever the game isn't going their way? They don't really bother me as I can just ignore or troll them, but god damn are there a lot of them. More often than not though the players just seem to be up for a good time. But that guy who threw a snit fit when I took the character he wanted was cringey enough that I'll probably remember him for months.
