I've played Dead Island for thirty hours this week, so far.

I can't get enough.

Nightmare House 2

Wow... I was not expecting a mere mod of Half-Life 2: Episode 2 to be this freaking good. This is easily one of the scariest games I've played and has some truly memorable sequences that put a lot of the more recent survival "horror" games to shame. In fact, this game does what the F.E.A.R series has failed to do for three games. A few of the horror sequences do repeat themselves and there's one that's copied straight from Condemned: Criminal Origins but little homage aside the game really does manage to create some creepy, disturbing, and immersive moments. If you have HL2: E2 installed on your computer and you want to play something that will actually scare you, definitely give this game a try. You can download it for free, here.

Check out amnesia and penumbra too if you dig games with real scares.

The feeling of being completely helpless and knowing anything can happen at any minute requires ingenuity, and nerves of steel to survive. No weapons, you can only hide, and run.

EDIT: And don't ever, ever look at anything that moves.

I'm playing WoW again at the moment.... lots and lots of WoW... oh dear.

But I am really looking forward to MW3 and Skyrim in November.... anyone else?!

Which reminds me, if there are any other WoW players on here, I'm giving away a mount from the Blizzard store... this will probably be flagged as spam but oh well...

YES. I'm using the Morrowind construction set and Fallout G.E.C.K. to learn how to mod for it, so I can be an even bigger Elder Scrolls geek when the time comes.

one of the big changes is the inclusion of something called The Silent Realm. When Link places the Skyward Sword into the ground, he accesses this alternate world, where he must face a series of spiritual tests amidst nightmarish versions of previous areas. But upon entering The Silent Realm, Link is stripped of his weapons and must survive using a mixture of guile and stealth. Collossus-sized creatures called The Guardians defend this realm, and can kill you with a single hit. To defeat them, you must collect tears.
WHY?????

I hate this stupid time fill shit.

It was that tear collection time fill stuff that turned me off Twilight Princess, good to see Nintendo is keeping with tradition.
