Because the games looked really good. Witcher 3, Dragon Age, DriveClub, Assassins Creed Unity, they all look amazing, but are boring as hell to play. Bloodborne's good. But that's all I've enjoyed.

Metro 2033.
And I hate myself for not playing it earlier - it's that good! I remember giving it a try long time ago and back then, I thought it was a boring, on rails shooter with poor gunplay mechanics.. boy was I wrong. It's very linear, true - but gameplay is smooth and very skill based and the atmosphere is simply amazing. This is how fallout would feel, if fallout wanted to be really dark and sad, not just dark and sad while throwing around jokes and popculture references.
Metro: dying light is next on my list, especially since both games in their "redux" version cost ~10E in Poland.

I don't really know if the Redux version of Metro: Last Light is needed, but it definitely was for Metro 2033. When that game first came out it was damn near impossible to run on any settings and maintain a halfway decent framerate. From what I've heard, seen, and read, the Redux version of that changes all that quite a bit, but it has a very minimal effect on Last Light. However given the price I'd say go for it.

I grabbed this yesterday

The Consuming Shadow

It's Zero Punctuation's Yahtzee's latest game and I have to say it's pretty damn good. I've been watching his Ego Review series on YouTube where he and a friend play through old games Yahtzee made throughout his career as an indie dev and he certainly has a knack for horror, which The Consuming Shadow certainly is. It's kind of like a blend of FTL and Darkest Dungeon. It's a roguelike where you are being chased by this nebulous force throughout England. You have a 60 hour time limit to find out clues and a banishing ritual so you can stop a dark God from entering our dimension and it's a lot of fun trying to figure out what God it is from the clues you find scattered throughout the game. It's very Lovecraft-inspired, with the implementation of a sanity meter that slowly goes down as you take damage or have random events happen. While it's not much to look at, the writing is very well done and what really helps make the game shine. The writing creates a very eerie atmosphere that does that Silent Hill style of horror where it feels like it's only you that notices how fucked up things are.

Im playing a mobile game called Graal online.

It's kinda like playing the snes Zelda but as a subpar mmo. Im also playing Skate 3 again.
ive seen some vids on youtube of Skate 3 that look like 411 clips, the camera in that game is damn near perfect and you have tons of options to edit your clips and upload them PLUS the pixies's debaser is on the track list.

I have the original metro 2033 and it ran very smooth on my not so powerful machine (gtx 660 isn't the best gfx card out there..). In fact I was rather surprised, I remember this game being extremely unoptimized and it required a monster rig to run, in fact it was so resource hungry it was one of the games the Polish gaming magazine CDAction used for testing new graphic cards ... over 2 years after it came out.
I was going to play last light but something died in my rig yesterday...so I'll get to it when I get to it

Also tried out Race the Sun, which was free for just today on Steam(played it about 2 hours before the free part expired, hehe). In all honesty it was a nice little premise in sort of the endless runner vein(avoid obstacles and collect glowy things that add to your combo score and increase the time you have to race the sun) but after about 10 minutes I felt like I had my fill of it. Overall kind of meh.

Also played a little bit of Paranautical Activity, another indie game off of Steam. Pretty much a mix of Painkiller, The Binding of Isaac with a voxel finish. Not too bad and I think I'll be finding myself back on it soon.

Amazing game. The soundtrack is fantastic and the gameplay is a lot of fun.

What's the general opinion of GTA V as I've finally got around to playing it?
