^Watched it on Twitch.tv for a few the other. The graphics are beautiful, but it's not the kind of game that would hold my attention.

Im raging at Terraria atm, it's f*ckin ridiculous, how am i supposed to beat the Wall of flesh alone!? i can't barely traverse the underworld as it is, how am i supposed to beat a huge wall of flesh with such an absurd knock back power! i can't progress any further until i beat him but i keep seeing all the great equipment i could have after i beat him and unlock hard mode but i don't see how i can do that with my current equipment which is supposed to be the best equipment in pre-hard mode but it doesn't help for jack sh*t..

Not really but i prefer written walkthroughs. i don't need one atm though, i passed it. it seemed impossible at first cause i didn't have a good strategy against him. he's the first boss in the game that made me use all the weird potions ive been saving up, i didn't even know the gravity potion could turn the world upside down.

The setting and animal training skill look good, but the rest not so much.

I watched it briefly on twitch seemed kind of lame tbh. The guy set a bear on fire which proceeded to light everything on touch on fire and beat the crap out of the dude. Every time he got wrecked he just ran away and regenerated his life. He eventually tamed the bear, but the game play was not impressive in the 5-10 minutes that I watched.

I think I am finally drunk enough to play Alien: Isolation. To anyone who has seen me talking about horror movies in the film thread, just know that I have been watching scary movies for the last few days because I have been trying and trying to play this game, but have been so scared of even double-clicking on the desktop icon, that I have settled for movies.

Seriously, truly scary games are 100x more terrifying than the most scary horror films. I'm fairly drunk, but I'm still putting off playing Alien: Isolation by making this post, whereas I need absolutely no prep to watch a scary movie.

Holy ****, I hate this game. But I will not be cowed. I will not be cowed. I WILL NOT BE COWED!

Edit: The game is now running and I don't wanna do this I don't wanna do this I don't wanna do this but I've gotten this far... I don't wanna do this I don't wanna do this I don't wanna do this **** MY LIFE!!!

Drunk is definitely the way to play this game. I died once in the first real alien part, and died once, because I was testing whether the alien appears once and then goes away for good (it does not), but once I realized how to do that part it was easy. Unnerving as ****, but easy.

And now I'm in the part where you have to worry about the rogue androids rather than the alien, who are a bitch, but relatively predictable. Since I'm drunk I imagine that they will be more challenging than otherwise, but I was high as all **** the last time I made my way past them, so they're not an impossible obstacle by any means.

But after that... then the alien section begins in earnest, and there is no way to make your way around that part without pure terror. In order to take the edge off of that I will have to be so drunk that I will basically be so useless that being sober might actually be preferable. Being high is certainly not the way to go, as I have tried that, and it is debilitating. I seriously could not go five minutes without almost having a panic attack.

I don't care. I have the money to be wasted for the rest of the week and I refuse to play this game sober. It's just not possible for someone with my level of nerves and paranoia.

I hate this ****ing game.
