Nice dude. I found my first fragment this morning and the tank upgrade. Hoping to play more tonight. I hope there are new vehicles and tools. The lack of a habitat builder is forcing me to make floaty chests, I havent made one yet, but im going to be forced to if i dont get a 2nd locker soon!

I'm planning on playing more today so we'll see how much I'll get done.

@DickShazam

As much as I'm not a fighting game guy I'd like at least one more fighting game on my 360 other than Injustice, which as awesome as it is for fanboy reasons is rather difficult to nail special moves with, and I'd like your input on something to get that's actually pleb friendly while not being trash. I mean I suck at ****ing games tbh. I know the D-pad of a 360 controller isn't all that accurate and is awkwardly placed under the left thumbstick but that's no excuse for how bad I am. Like, I remember one of the PS2 Tekkens being fine for me and a ****load of fun. Is Tekken 6 a good way to go?

Whatever the newest version of DOA 5 is would probably keep you entertained for a while. Especially if you like goofing around with stuff like survival mode and time attack.

Aside from that, modern fighting games honestly have a tendency to be kinda overcomplicated. You need a degree in rocket science to wrap you head around games like BlazBlue.

Tekken 6 is good, but I think Tag Tournament 2 is even better. It has a ton of characters and a much better costume editor that I've used a lot. The AI also feels a bit like a cheating asswipe.

Virtua Fighter is hard to learn, but actually quite easy to control. The question is if you'd maybe find it a bit too dry. I personally think VF 5 is great and it has a big single player mode called "Quest Mode" that's quite fun. Just don't get that online store version called Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, as the improvements are only of interest to experts and the Quest Mode is missing...

Other than those, Smash Bros is probably the king of fighting games that don't require a degree in rocket science. I mean, I don't have any Nintendo system myself, but people seem to love those games a lot.

Soul Calibur is super easy to get into, and the create-a-fighter **** is always hilarious. Street Fighter is also pretty easy to pick up and learn, since the move lists are so basic (and Poison is >).

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is godly, but the move lists and combos are ridiculously huge and obtuse for a newbie.

Also, I know you both don't like MK9, but I'll always stand behind that game (in more ways than one). Super fun, easy to learn, oodles of gory content, and a story mode that somehow doesn't suck.

Can't believe I didn't think of Soul Calibur. Probably the best balance between ease of play and depth you're gonna find anywhere in the genre.

SC2,3,4 and 5 are all decent in my book, even though 2 probably runs away with the trophy in the end.

The thing with games that control like Street Fighter is that they're easy to those who are already used to that input convention. In my experience, even the simplest, most input lenient Street Fighter type games are an impassable brick wall for friends that don't play those games already.
