That means sell. I don't want them, I've only been holding hoping value would go up.

Think I'll just drop them at the local shop... maybe I can get store credit.

Poison Ivy has her own ongoing series and I am more stoked than I realized I'd be. She's long been my 2nd fav Batman villain but after getting this juiced over the past couple weeks ordering the issues off mycomicshop.com (great site for back issues), researching her appearances over the decades and making plans to get them too, and just constantly nerding out in my head over how cool she is I realize that Joker just doesn't bring that out in me to nearly the same degree.

And just look at these ****ing covers!!!

I have been collecting a metric **** ton of back issues featuring Poison Ivy in a long term plan to collect as much of her important stories as possible but man do a bunch of writers not do her justice.

It's okay though cause I just read Harleen, Harley Quinn's most recent origin story retelling and it has rejuvenated all of my juices depleted from reading bad comics. It's so ****ing good and feels like a definitive origin and, even though I wasn't even asking for it, gave me some god tier Poison Ivy art. And the writer/artist wants to do a Poison Ivy origin as well? Please give me this.

I've finally secured the handsome oversize 1,456-page 3-volume first-printing hardcover box set from 2005. The set ranks as the #1 Best Seller for Amazon's Graphic Novel Anthologies category. I couldn't be happier! These will be a joy to read every day. Hooray! <3

Man I ****ing love Kurt Busiek. His run on Superman made me realize just how much I loved Superman. Thunderbolts was a massively fun book about super villains turned heroes with plenty of moral ambiguity but without any lame edginess where the most fun character was still the most delightfully evil and manipulative ****head and I stan Moonstone until death.

But then I open issue 1 of Busiek's Avengers run and it takes me 2 days to get through cause all I can do is stare at the gorgeous art and continually reread the most perfect comic book lines ever written like-

"Foolish woman! No human can withstand Gullin, the boar-god!"

"Perhaps not, braggart! But as you are about to learn -- Moondragon is far more than human!"

I don't expect plebes to understand but Kurt Busiek is the most fun comic writer and everything he does makes me happy.

^^^

God damn the Avengers got mind controlled and reality was altered so they think they're living in an Arthurian legend and this robot dude named Machine Man, like, I thought his name got changed to "SIR MACHINERY" but then I realized it was "SIR MacHINERY" and I had to put the book down to bask in the genius.
