Jefferson's Brother: My brother's gonna kill us! He's gonna kill us! He's gonna kill you and he's gonna kill me, he's gonna kill us!

Jeff Spicoli: Hey man, just be glad I had fast reflexes!

Jefferson's Brother: My brother's gonna shit!

Jeff Spicoli: Make up your mind, dude, is he gonna shit or is he gonna kill us?

Jefferson's Brother: First he's gonna shit, then he's gonna kill us!

You know, sometimes I question your dedication to Sparkle Motion.

From the video in the drugs convention scene in Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas

"Know your Dope Fiend! Your life may depend on it! You will not be able to see his eyes because of Tea-Shades, but his knuckles will be white from inner tension and his pants will be crusted with semen from constantly jacking off when he can't find a rape victim."

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain. Time to die."

Pure movie gold, those lines. :)

My fav quote is actually from a movie I haven't even seen yet, it's just in the trailer.

Year One:
"Well we won't have any berries in the fruit salad now so we all lose..."
Love it.

Stepbrothers: "From my chest pubes to my ball fro"

I dont remember what movie but: "I shall not bleed my own blood"

"Say hello to my little friend" - Scarface.

I just find it such an amazing quote, so profound with no pretension. Truly a quote that has enriched my life and words that will stay with me 'til the day I die.

"Like I told my last wife, I says, "Honey, I never drive faster than I can see. Besides that, it's all in the reflexes." - Jack Burton

Big Trouble In Little China

I loved Kurt Russel's character in that movie, so blind to the fact that he was a sidekick.

This was one of my favorite movies as a child. I still love how cheesy it is. Didn't think I'd ever find another person who liked it though!

No, it's 'favourite'! :P

Favourite movie quotes:

"I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"

and

"A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti."

and anything from Star Wars. I'm a nerd.

You know usually people list them...kind of the point of the thread.

I've been on a Young Frankenstein kick lately...which is totally quotable, but here's one of my faves:

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Igor, help me with the bags.
Igor: [Imitating Groucho Marx] Soitenly. You take the blonde, I'll take the one in the turban.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I was talking about the luggage.

"Come with uncle, and have things all proper! Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones! You. Are. Invited!"

"Let me do a little impression for ya.. Caw! Caw! Bang! ****! I'm Dead!"

"And when you jumped on that one security guard's back and started yelling, 'The CIA put a chip in my brain!', I laughed so hard I almost **** my pants."
"Almost?!"

"I will blow my ****in' brains out! If you can tell me that ****in' cat's name!!"
"Ahh, WHAT COLOR WAS IT, BITCH?!!"

Piss Me Off 06-30-2009 07:53 PM

"I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood. You tell the angels in heaven you never seen evil so singularly personified as you did in the face of the man who killed you."

Walken ftw.

from Wild Hogs;

Tim Allen: You're the sheriff, why don't you go out there?
Stephen Tobolowsky: I'm the sheriff of a town of 500 people. I got my qualification from a course on the internet. For my arms training, they just told me to play Doom!

i love that movie.

REDman 07-07-2009 09:00 PM

Watch Tropic Thunder tons of great lines...

"I'm a lead farmer mothaf**ka"

"Yo assh*les! This mothaf*cka's DEAD......"

simplephysics 07-07-2009 09:58 PM

Gotta hand it to Daniel Day Lewis with:

"DDDRRRRAAAAAAAIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNAGGGGEEEEEEEEE E"

Son of JayJamJah 07-07-2009 10:00 PM

That movie is amazing

The resturant scene with Daniel, HW and the Standard Oil guys is soooooo good.

For sure, though that ending takes the cake for me.
Don't get me wrong I love No Country For Old Men, but There Will Be Blood definitely should have beat it out for best picture.

Son of JayJamJah 07-07-2009 10:08 PM

I'll take either

It's like 1994 with Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction and Shawshank Redemption.

The scenes with HW are my favorite from the movie, the ending is great though, "I'm Finished" is now my go to saying whenever I do something stupid like drop leftover spaghetti in tuperware on the ground.

To this day I completely fail to grasp the fanfare behind this movie. I consider it a loss of 2+ hours that I could have spent watching grass grow, which would have been abundantly more interesting.

Did you like Lone Wolf and Cub?

Astronomer 07-08-2009 01:57 AM

"He is the sweetest guy. Have you ever looked into his eyes? It was like the first time I heard the Beatles."

So many hilarious quotes from that movie.

I agree that There Will Be Blood isn't one of the most captivating films, but it's things like the cinematography that makes it fantastic, not to mention the acting on both Daniel Day Lewis and Paul Dano's part. The relationship between those two characters is absolutely crazy.
