Currently hooked on Dexter - started watching it a few months ago, I'd been meaning to for a long time but finally borrowed the first season from the library and got really into it. On season 6 now!

You're not missing anything. One of those shows that could have been good if the characters were more interesting and the writing was better. Not terrible, just meh.

Its a really great show, Id probably say the 1st and 4th seasons are my favorite. Your in for a treat with season 6 too though, its pretty damn good. I thought Mos Def was awesome as Brother Sam in season 6.

So far I'd say season 4 is my favourite (what a finale that was - to say it was shocking just doesn't cover it!) but I'm enjoying season 6, I agree with you Mos Def is rather awesome in it!

Dexter is great
C.S.I is OK
Criminal Minds is a classic (at least in my head)
Silent witness is AMAZING!

Yeah Season 4 is definitely top tier, Trinity Killer was such a creepy villian. And yes I couldn't even process the ending of that season for a few minutes, it was insane. Season 6 has a pretty great finale too, be prepared haha.

As for what I've been watching
- Undeclared (pretty good but not as good as Freaks and Geeks)
- Regular Show (always in rotation, it cracks me up)
- Louie

Really cant wait till Breaking Bad and Dexter come back in the summer though. Two of the best shows ever ending in the same year is a buzzkill, but I know they're gonna go all out for the final seasons.

Wallander (UK)
I've only watched the first episode so far but I enjoyed that. I found the story gripping and disturbing and Kenneth Branagh's acting terrific. Looking forward to more.
