Well... I bought seasons 1,2 and 3 of Dexter seeing as all I ever read and hear from people is that its really good. Having got through season 1 in 2 days, I can confirm that is IS as good as I was told. I'll be doing some serious catching up in the next week or so

Dexter is probably one of the greatest shows to ever be on TV.

This season of House is much improved over the last few. I didn't think the whole House/Cuddy thing would really work but its been decent. And...the cases are actually interesting again.

I was almost certain that the relationship was going to ruin the show for me, but yeah it's actually okay. I agree, this season is such an improvement over the last couple, especially Season 6. I'm not really digging Amber Tamblyn's character though. She doesn't seem abrasive (for lack of a better term) enough to be a part of that team. I get the whole being honest thing, but I like it when they lie to get the patient to tell the truth. Maybe that's just me. I wonder when/if Olivia Wilde is returning?

Yeah, I know what you mean about Tamblyn's character. No one is that naive and overly honest...besides her personality not really fitting with the rest of the teams, it's just not believable in and of itself either.

I keep reading all this stuff online about Olivia Wilde coming back, but I thought for sure it would have happened by now...?

I'm totally jealous of you for that.

Yeah I thought so too about House and Cuddy that they would crash and burn pretty quickly but it has been fine in my books.

I love Amber's character. I don't care how honest/naive she is. I like her contrast compared to the rest of the team that has been corrupted by House over time. I can see her becoming corrupted as well. I hope they don't though. I hope they keep her honest and constantly going against the corruption that House is spewing in her direction. That dynamic will be interesting to see play out.

We're more than halfway through the season now... Her name is still in the opening credits. I'm so confused!

I guess you're right. It's probably because she's fresh out of med school and she hasn't learned how to bend the rules yet. Who knows.

By the way, Foreman and Taub living together is something I never would have imagined happening in a billion years!

Fringe is all right, but it's just a wanna be X-Files. It always starts out really interesting, but then when you find out what's actually going on, it's boring as hell. I mean the science is interesting, but they promise X-Files and deliver Bill Nye the Science Guy.

Not to knock Bill Nye of course.
