They did explore. That's how they found the front of the plane, the cave, the hatch, the waterfall, the French woman, etc. They were also all scared of the monster in the woods though, which might explain a little reluctance to plot a straight line inland.

No one had actually reached the other side of the island to support the theory that it is an island and not a land mass.
In the first season, when Sayid was captured by Rousseau he took some of her maps of the island when he escpaed. Also, the people from the tail section were on the opposite side of the island, so they at least had an idea of the scale of the place.

saw the latest episode of Fort Boyard yesterday

it was a Cardiffian team but NO. FUCKING. WELSH. ACCENTS.

if they were actually Welsh, I would have been shouting "Go, Cardiff, Go!!!!!"

and Melissa Manchester, the MC, was not very sexy that day

FRIENDS - omg i know its old but i like to watch the series over and over again and lucky enough for me they do it on british TV replay it - which is awesome - they should remake this show - like showing them has wise and old i mean it would be seriously cool

its just a down to earth show about 6 friends and the troubles and good things and different options and jobs that get in their way - i recommended it to you to get all of the seasons - i will bet with you - you will enjoy it - i think its brilliant
