So The Daily Show went from news, opinion, and humour to news and opinions stated as if they were funny.

I'm not really sure why they chose to continue the show with a new host.

I haven't watched since Jon left. This news isn't particularly surprising.

Maybe you've simply grown up a bit, and don't have such a broad left-wing view any more? That's what I have found happening with myself in regards to that show.

Trevor Noah is hilarious though.

Trevor Noah - That's the Whole Point of Apartheid, Jerry - Episode - Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee by Jerry Seinfeld

^Case in point. I guess I can call him a sellout, too.

Possibly, but the fact that Jon Stewart was actually funny is more likely.

There is a new series of Dual Survival @Vowels

There are two new survival experts on it. Matt and Joe have gone, only 4 programs in the last series so maybe something went on and they left.

I got the first two programs from the new series, watching now.

OK, not that I was looking for any, but I was wondering what shows (besides Death Note) are considered "emo." So I see someone ask for emo shows, and one of the first answers was "Ouran High School Host Club." No.

Why is Death Note considered emo?
(It's one of the very few anime I've actually seen, so I'm curious, since I wouldn't really call it that.)

... dark topics, deep emotional content, constant death, creepy music, but not quite horror. Ever see the whole thing?
