The first ten mins of AHS Cult was so funny.

Enjoying season 2 Preacher. Was a bit worried about the road trip scenario but it is still going strong.

My contempt for Seth MacFarlane has reached new depths. The latest Family Guy that I've seen concerns Quagmire being threatened with jail due to his having had underage sex with a school girl, but he gets out of it when his mother sleeps with the judge. Great life lesson there, Seth!

But the nadir, the very biggest turd in the toilet that won't go down no matter how many times you flush has to be the American Dad episode I watched last night. Roger and Klaus fall in love - no explanation how, apart from the fact that both are male, a fish makes love to an alien, or how Klaus stays alive outside of water. The sideplot, such as it is, concerns Steve (who I hate with a passion anyway and would cheerfully dismember) who avoids a mandatory school fitness test by - wait for it - crapping his pants. AND he gets a medal for doing so.

There could not be a more appropriate metaphor for MacFarlane's lack of respect for his shows. I mean, yes, they're cartoons and not to be taken seriously, but Christ man: take some ****ing pride in what you do, or alternatively, call time on it. Actually, do that. We'd all be better off.

As I've heard said he may very well not give a **** anymore and is just sabotaging his own shows for the lulz to see how long until the idiot masses finally stop watching. If so then my respect for him would go up substantially.

I never thought of it like that. I think I have a new hero.

That's an interesting idea, and would certainly fit in with the huge piles of **** both shows are currently shovelling out.

I wonder if him being the executive producer on Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey was meant to be an act of penance on his part.

I honestly don't know how it didn't end his career and pop the Family Guy bubble.

Anyone else watching Narcos season 3? I made the mistake of reading up on the Wikipedia page about the Cali cartel early on - the show follows real life closely enough that reading any history will give lots of spoilers. Even so I thought it was pretty good - less engaging at first without any Escobar-like figure but the series gets better as it goes and the last few episodes are great.

Anybody watching the new season of Bojack? Only watched the first episode so far due to no time, but what do y'all think (without spoilers)?
