Give em a break on the bad lighting. Before the modern age of television basically every TV show looked like ****. And Deep Space 9 was the best Trek show. But if you don't already have a working knowledge of Trek then it might be hard to get invested in a show that went that hard into Trekkian interstellar politics.

And Quark was the best Trek character.

Neon Genesis Evangelion

Final analysis:

I didn’t understand it at all.

I just read the wiki plot explanation for the final episode and was like... really? I didn’t have a clue what was going on. That was one seriously confusing show.

Now I can watch the 7 seasons of The West Wing on Netflix. When it seemed like nothing resembling the prestige of the office would return in reality watching the series seemed a depressing prospect.

Queen's Gambit is a great mini series, but as someone who loves Chess it kinda sucks knowing that it's probably the peak in big budget entertainment that's going to revolve around Chess ever, because it's such a dry topic. I'm a halfway decent player, and I absolutely loved the brilliance of the games that were arranged, but I don't think you would necessarily have to be any good at it or even be interested in the game at all to enjoy the series. Anya Taylor-Joy was amazing as Beth Harmon. Seriously recommend to anybody, really.

That's intriguing. I'm godawful at chess cause I have zero ability to plan multiple moves ahead but chess is still mad cool and I just watched a great Youtube vid about the evolution of chess computers vs human chess masters that ended up being super intense for the breakdown of the matches between computer and grand master and it got me interested in watching chess competitions.

Peacocktv has several seasons of Parks & Recreation streaming for free. Never watched it til today. I really liked the pilot though I detest even the idea of Ron Swanson.
Guess if you've got Leslie you gotta have Ron. I'll be in and out of the first season over the weekend.

I religiously watched parks and rec a long time ago just because of April Ludgate
If you liked the pilot I think you'll like the rest, it gets much better

You know not only does that video have epic chess but capitalism is the true enemy.
