Apparently there's a live action cowboy bebop movie coming out in 2011 for otaku's alike. Keanu Reeves is supposed to play Spike...I'm worried. Also some movie on Kurt Cobain is rumored to be out in 2011. I used to be a fan of Nirvana and am interested to see how it all pans out.

The film about Jeff Buckley, Mystery White Boy, has caught my interest, if only because James Franco will play him.

Saw the trailer for this at Inglorious Basterds and District 9 and all I can say is holy shit it looks amazing. Something like 40% real action and 60% CGI (or maybe vice versa) and it really shows you how far we've come. Not only that the world the it's set on looks absolutely amazing.

i saw this trailer too...

is there a story in this movie? or is it just pretty stuff to look on screen. i dont think the trailer said 1 word. this causes concerns for me.

From what I gathered it's going to be about human colonization of other worlds, aboriginal species on these worlds fighting off the human expansion, and a human becoming infused with one of the aboriginal species to try and create a peace between the two warring factions.
