I never did understand the hate for this movie . . . cinematography, adventure, macabre snake scene, annoying monkeys, an asian guy playing an indian guy, John Cleese with a bear. AND KNIVES. . . KNIVES AND CARY ELWES.

If there's an underrated movie it's last year's Vantage Point. Excellent action movie, has a great style and some great thrills.

it wasn't bad that at all, and now that you've reminded me about John Cleese and Cary Elwes I wanna see it NOW

They both had brilliant soundtracks, my dad's mate/boss at work recorded Turtles II off Sky for us (he had satellite TV with all the movie channels, wow!) and I must have watched it about 34656562 times. If I watched it now all the lines would come flooding back, and David Warner is in it!
With retrospect, it was pretty bloody terrible, but the original is still good - compared to the then-popular 'toon it was really quite dark and violent

I loved this movie when I was a kid. Haven't seen it since I was 6, but I really want to watch this now.

I just upgraded from VHS to DVD with the 3 turtles movies.

One of the greatest Disney films completely overshadowed by the bigger Disney blockbusters of the early 90's.
