I still haven't gotten around to seeing that, is it any good? I enjoyed Be Kind Rewind which was done by the same director.

Yess, it's one of the most adorable and imaginative movies I've seen. Without the stop motion animation the storyline doesn't have a whole lot going for it, but I still recommend the hell out of this one. If anything see it for Gainsbourg, she's purdeh.

I'm not much of an expert with films so don't mind if my list is a bit cliché. Off the top of my head...

Mulholland Drive
Taxi Driver
Scarface
The Elephant Man
Chinatown
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
The Shining
Blue Velvet
Fight Club
Pulp Fiction
The Last House On The Left
Being John Malkovich
Requiem For A Dream
American History X
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind

And an assortment of zombie films.
I never liked this movie, it has everything I should like but it bored me to tears.

Which Lynch pic do you prefer, Blue Velvet or Mulh. Drive

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

the royal tenenbaums
kill bill volumes
Weekend at Bernies I & II
I think I love my wife
Hot Fuzz
Shaun of the Dead
Equilibrium
The Prestige
American Psycho
All Star Wars Episodes
Event Horizon
Cube

Seriously? Taxi Driver is bloody brilliant and gets better with every viewing. It's slow but it's all about the little subtle things that Travis sees as personal letdowns. That shot of the empty hallway when Travis is on the phone is sublime.
