Need a clue?

bob. 10-23-2010 06:21 PM

sure

jackhammer 10-23-2010 06:27 PM

Wrote and directed by the guy who wrote a (intriguing sounding) draft for Alien3, and a couple of his ideas survived to the final film.

What link? Seriously I am intrigued because I need to hide anything that shows up!

Besides if people are using links then they be cheating ;)

Jebus.
I'll tackle this step by step.

The screenshot you posted was on the previous page. I Knew the movie and wanted to reply. Wanting my guess to be right under the screenshot for clarity purposes, i quoted the post containing the screenshot.

Quoted, it appears as so.

Agreed. Piccy:

Now let's look at that again with the interesting part bolded.

http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/protectedi...e=NoelMegahey/navigator6.jpg

You need to save the picture to your computer and upload it again to some website like photobucket or tinypic.
Really, it's not rocket science. And even rocket science ain't so hard, you know.

That, or find a way to ban quoting.

And have a wink ;).

/bitch.

Now, will you be so kind as to post another screenshot, pretty please?

A little bit of patronising is present here ;) Good call.

Still cheating though ;)

So it seems like I will have well and truly flummox you then?

As this one is stumping people here are a few clues.

It's French.
It's a slow paced Zombie movie that's a definite cult movie.
Made in the 70's.

dankrsta 10-25-2010 04:17 PM

^^Thanks to your hints and google...it's Grapes of Death

I must admit I don't know that many zombie movies, let alone French.

There aren't many! It's a really good film. Very atmospheric compared to being gory and directed by the one and only Jean Rollin.

dankrsta 10-25-2010 04:36 PM

^^I'll take it as your recommendation then

bob. 10-25-2010 05:47 PM

Fearless vampire Killers?

dankrsta 10-26-2010 12:11 PM

Yes, that's it. Hilarious film.

Edit: I like this title: Pardon Me, But Your Teeth Are in My Neck

bob. 10-26-2010 12:22 PM

Sharon was so beautiful.....:(

bob. 10-27-2010 02:56 PM

The Mummy's Shroud :(

dankrsta 10-29-2010 03:13 PM

Bummer, I really had no idea what film that was (the Mummy one). I was hoping maybe jackhammer would guess it.

Never seen The Mummy's Shroud so that's why I didn't get it. Not a big fan of Mummy films.

jackhammer 10-29-2010 06:28 PM

Clue? it's still unreleased in the U.K and if you know your films you SHOULD recognise the actor as he has had a small but pivotal role in a cult classic.

DoctorSoft 10-29-2010 09:04 PM

Is that... Tim Roth?

No not at all and that scene is the actor pointing a gun at a toddlers head. Google should help now.

dankrsta 10-30-2010 07:54 PM

^^Fight for Your Life! That's one of those films I've always wanted to see.

That actor gave me such a headache. So familiar face that I just couldn't place anywhere. I guess that's the mark of a good character actor. A cult classic? That's Blade Runner, right. I barely connected the dots.

Late 60s atmospheric horror/thriller. Pretty well known British actor in the background.

jackhammer 10-31-2010 08:37 PM

The Shuttered Room.

Talking of Oliver Reed I am STILL waiting for a release of Ken Russells The Devils. brilliant film.

NumberNineDream 11-03-2010 08:24 AM

Anyone?

dankrsta 11-03-2010 08:38 AM

Jackhammer guessed the last film, but I suppose he forgot to post a new one.

NumberNineDream 11-03-2010 08:59 AM

Let's go for it then:

Seriously? I thought you might know this one as you know your European cinema! I know it but I'm guessing most of them and enhancing my sad anorak image :D so I will let someone else guess.
