If it's good old 2D platforming then that's enough to grab my attention. :)

Absolutely, I kid you not. My male friends enjoy it more than me at times! It's definetly ideal for her then.

Well my friend got it so I'll play with her when i go over.

I used to be a PS2 owner but when these two consoles came out, Xbox 360 was something like $200 cheaper so I went with it and haven't looked back. I honestly can't fairly say which is better because I haven't played the PS3 but I will say that free online is not a factor because I don't really play games online anyways. I do own a PSP though, so Sony is still represented in a way.

Is the PSP worth it in your opinion?

I couldn't say, I just got it for Christmas and already figured out that I have to buy a memory card separately to save anything. Messing around in Grand Theft Auto: China Wars is hella fun though
