Yeah, well it apparently won: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (LaPaglia), Best Actress (Armstrong), and Best Adapted Screenplay. But to be honest nobody over here really pays much attention to any Australian awards ceremonies because 1) Most of them are pretty rubbishy (like the ARIAS) and 2) Most of our culture is completely saturated with that of the US. Film buffs and people who are into cinema definitely will recognise
Lantana as one of the best Australian films but most regular joes haven't even heard of it. Australian creations tend not to get a lot of recognition even in our own country which is pretty sad really.
