Shall I be an ass and say what I really think about the movie or be polite to a noob?

It was watchable but I haven't watched it since that's all I will say. Internal Affairs is better IMO.

why wouldn't you say what you think? You are just a guy on a forum. Why would I be mad?

Probably Denzel's best work... Same for Ethan Hawke. Denzel got an Oscar for it, absolutely deserving of it. Hawke was nominated but didn't win, not sure who won for best supporting actor that year.

Except Before Sunrise, Before Sunset and Waking Life is Ethan Hawke's best work.

I thought Training Day was quite entertaining, but quite mediocre overall.

Waking Life is a great movie but Ethan Hawke is only in it for about five minutes, revisiting a character he had played before. It's hardly a career-defining moment.
