We'll have to agree to disagree. I personally don't find Jeremy Clarkson and Top Gear entertaining but maybe others do, I respect this fact. But millions of people watch the show and that is why I think he should be a little more sensible and it's nice to see someone with an opinion but there are ways of voicing an opinion. It's an understatement to say that the guy is a little outspoken and he's going to make friends and enemies for that!

Millions watch it BECAUSE he is outlandish in what he says. If people really wanted to watch somethig that was serious journalism about cars they'd watch 5th gear on Channel 5. You dont watch the show but have an opinion on how he should act within it... why not try watching it instead of forming your opinions from articles you have read by anti Clarkson authors.

It's the best watched TV programme in the world.
They're not going to change it and, quite frankly, the people who do have problems with it should probably think twice about with whom this problem may lay

The fact millions watch it should be because it's about cars, nothing else. 5th gear on Channel 5 is even worse, it's a poor man's version of Top Gear but without an arsehole like Jeremy Clarkson. I've watched it before and my opinion is I don't like it!
