Only 5?! This is difficult.
In order: 1) Unforgiven 2) Forrest Gump 3) 2001: A Space Odyssey 4) The Godfather 5) Jaws

Naming only 5 will be hard, but I'll try:
Aliens 2 12 monkeys (anything by Gilliam, really) Scanner Darkly Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas Army of Darkness Movies that almost made it to the top 5, in no particular order: Akira (though the manga was significantly better), Chinatown, True Grit (the Coen version), A Serious Man (best Coen movie imo), Secondhand Lions (I wonder how many of you saw this or at least know of it), Children of Men, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, anything by Monty Python, Cabin in the Woods, Tropic Thunder, Sexmission (again, wonder how many will even recognize what it is), all the Millenium movies (original 3 and the us remake), Carnage, and a ton more I just can't think of right now. |
