That's easy. I LOVE Angelo Badalamenti and his ability to completely catch the hazy, noirish and dreamy feel of many Lynch's films musically, and not only to catch but add to it.

Mulholland Drive
The main theme of Mulholland Dr. is a perfect example of how his music enriches Lynch's vision emotionally, adding a deep sadness to the foreboding nightmare.

Laura Palmer's Theme (Twin Peaks)
Same thing here, a mixture of horror and sadness, truly haunting.

Dance Of The Dream Man (Twin Peaks)
Seemingly lighthearted, this jazzy piece catches the imagination as much as its title.

Laurens Walking (The Straight Story)
This is something completely different compared to previous themes, like the film itself. Badalamenti, like a good film composer, understands the ideas of the director and is willing to reinvent himself, to serve the film above all. This beautiful, spread folk theme, however, still has some distinct Badalamenti feel.
