how about these:-

a man with no name, walks into town, doesn't talk and killsa everybody (A Fistful of Dollars) isn't it clear that this from Kurosawa's Yojimbo?

a boy is lumbered with the task of rescuing a princess from an impenetrable stronghold, with the help of two clowns (Star Wars IV : A New Hope) isn't it clear that this is from Kurosawa's Hidden Fortress?

It was a great movie, watch it. It's a lot more about the girl trying to get answers out of him and torturing him phycologically rather than physically hurting him.
