I watched this.... I have never taken such an instant dislike to so many people in such a short space of time. Infinitely more shallow and without the comaraderie that the Jersey Shore people have, they have found 8 of the most detestable people ever. I swear Newcastle's reputation (lol) is ruined.

As a mackem, I should love that. I just can't bring myself to find this funny in any way. I may not live in Newcastle (actually, is this show not even filmed in Gateshead or something?) but I still live around here, in the north east. Nobody wants this show to exist.

I've only seen the trailer and the ad but I can just tell that these people are gonna be carefully selected, to find some absolutely disgusting, vile individuals.

I've heard there's no red light district in Newcastle... after watching this I'm not surprised, there seems no need for one! First episode, girl with a boyfriend gets a bit drunk and gives a blowjob to one of the guys she'll be living with... absolute classless, most likely disease infested trollops.

And aparently you have to have a tan if you want to pull in Newcastle. Because Newcastle is famous for its tropical weather, so a tan is just natural. Oh wait...

It says alot that I can pretty much guarantee that not one person from Jersey Shore would go near the Geordies. Pure grenades, the lot of them.

Hehe well you will find girls like that here, and girls here are notorious for going out dressed up in very little, even in the snow. But of course everywhere has girls like that, and they don't represent the majority, ours just have the rep for being "tough". There was actually something on local news during the winter when all the news headlines were about the snow, trying to persuade Geordie lasses to wear something when they were going out for the night.

The people on this show will of course be carefully selected. They always are on reality shows. I imagine that the kind of people who would apply to be on this show would be the same kind of people who apply to be on Jeremy Kyle.

I don't find watching vile, sick, stupid, and narcissistic people on tv make complete fools out of themselves enjoyable. It's sad, it makes me hate humanity, and it makes me hate life. I'm not exaggerating, these kind of shows bring about the worst in me. I just wish there was somewhere that I could turn to and get some sort of positive feelings, but no this garbage is everywhere. I guess I'll go watch Yo Gaba Gaba.
