in retrospect, Thor is a much better movie than First Class or Green Lantern will ever be

I haven't seen any of those yet, but I think X-Men looks much, much cooler than Thor or Lantern. The one I'm really excited for, though, is Captain America.

the only problem I have with Captain America is the uniform - why a jacket? why Army khaki pants?

To me, Thor felt like a 90s Movie-Of-The Week with a big budget. I wasn't a huge fan of the directing style. Also, the romantic angle just didn't sell for me. There wasn't any real motivation for it.

The action sequences at the beginning though were pretty awesome.
