I never played the first. It's probably why I wasn't as disappointed in the 3rd because it mostly seemed to wrap up story arcs from the 2nd

I find it pretty dull to be honest

Knights of the Old Republic was so much better, must've played through both of the games in that series at least 6 times over

I agree on this. Going against everything I heard about the series before I played it, the ME story is just boring and not all that interesting. I still like the RPG elements, but KOTOR is a superior game no doubt about it.

Man I am still scared to pick up Mass Effect 3. Part 1 and 2 had me so addicted... Plus I haven't beat neither one of them..

I just found I have Part 1 still, may go back and play it, also playing Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas at the moment!!!
