Alright, I liked the second episode better than the first. Not only did it explain things better, but the story moved better, and wasn't quite as... jumpy? Don't know if that makes sense. Anyway, the second episode was good, so I guess I'll push on and keep watching.

I am glad I read the books, it helped me understand a lot of the characters better. I didn't like Sansa at first because of how she is in the beginning of the series, but I love her now. Same with Jaime, he's one of my favourites as well (and I ship him so hard with Brienne). The show made me more sympathetic to Cersei however, and I feel more sympathy towards her than Theon Flopjoy's turncloak ass.

lol, it's when you want certain fictional characters together, you "ship" them.

And if you're in several fandoms you have several ships

And if it's a series with love dodecahedrons, you have a fleet of ships. And if you hate a pairing, you try to sink that ship.

And I guess if you're always wanting people to fight, it's a battleship.

Have you gotten to A Dance with Dragons yet? It's amazing how much you sympathize with Theon after you see what happens to him...

I just finished, I do sympathise with him a little more, but I'm still miffed at how much he betrayed the Starks (whom I love).

Spoiler for spoilers for A Dance With Dragons:

Spoiler for Spoiler:
I hated her storyline until her last chapter, but that made me see where GRRM is going with it. Meereen was really all about learning her lessons, I think (Hope) that we will see a more vicious, dragon like Dany going forward. So long as GRRM lives long enough to write the books...
