As an enjoyer of the Harry Potter, lord of the rings, and eragon series, would any of you recommend this for me? I need something to get lost in, and movies are too short.

More adult orientated and more based on the medieval side of things than actual fantasy. Don't expect to see orcs or trolls as you'll be disappointed.

That means so much! Thanks Dayna! I am always trying to do better than the Red Wedding! Next one is Knives in the Dark, just wanted to get this one out of the way because it was eating me up, I have a lot of sympathy for the Children of the Forest, mainly because I am a supposed hippie :P And I love their culture, then those ****ing Andals( based on Anglo Saxon christians invading the celts) came along and ruined everything.

I'm rambling again.
