Favorite and lest favorite characters so far -

Fave -

1. Ygritte (i love the wildlings)
2. Tyrion (best lannister imho)
3. Arya (a girl that can actually fight.)

Least -

1. Sansa (she's too loyal for her own good)
2. Joffrey (I think you know why)
3. Jon Snow (too honorable for his own good-why doesn't he just shag Ygritte??)

personally i love Danny and the actress playing her....its the actor who play Jorah that is horrible....i swear he delivers his lines in iambic pentameter and it just bugs the shit out of me

not that it needs to be said but i also loved the first episode of season three

Well, book 3.0's finished. Is it just me or does it seem really hard to everyone else to drag out an entire season from this source material alone? I know the show's obviously going to add material of its own to make up for the stuff it won't have like the extended Tully family but there isn't really all that much that's happened in it. Sure, there's moments for Dany, Sam and Sansa, but it's not all leading up to a mad climax like the first two books and a some characters don't really get all that much attention. Obviously I'm not a producer and I haven't even read book 3.1 yet so I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I can't help but be slightly worried that this year's season could be a slow burner.

Don't worry about the slow burner thing though, George himself has said that the first four episodes are build-ups, then the other 6 are meant to be pretty mad. You've read the book so you don't have to use your imagination.
