Shireen is even more tragic than I'd ever imagined she could be. At least the poor girl had Edric, Patchface and Pylos in the books. I kind of want Stannis to win the Throne just so she can get out of Dragonstone and into a less miserable place.

Davos would be a brilliant father for her as we saw in that scene. Are you aware of the Edric storm/ Gendry crossover this season Circe?

I had a vague idea that Edric wasn't going to show up and that Gendry was going to fill his role to some extent but I wasn't sure how much.

I thought the episode was pretty good again, but the whole Mormont/Barristan thing seemed a little forced. They were both being quite chummy and self deprecating and then bam, just like that they're against each other. They may as well have pitted them against each other like they did in the book...I also miss Strong Belwas..
