Oh yeah I forgot: book readers, what do you think of Grey Worm's casting? I love him. I think he's perfect.

Like UGH I would be all over a man like that.

I was expecting him to be a bit more..well...fleshy. I think the TV series might really struggle to make the unsullied look/feel as good as they are made out to be in the books, knights and fire everyone gets but these guys don't seem all that...special.

Also, agree with Daario shouts, not really how I pictured him. Where is his badass mustache? Why isn't he funny? They just seem to have gone for the generic guy that will bring a swoon from the female audience.

Which is only fair I guess, seeing as we git Emilia Clarke getting out the bath..

I think the casting for Daario is absolutely perfect!

Just finished the first season. I was surprised at how many characters looked pretty similar to how I pictured them. A little better acting than what I thought it was going to be as well, but there are still some glaring weak points (Robb isn't great and Daenerys, while she more than fills the role in the beauty department, is just awful). Really good casting for the most part though.

Show Robb is so ****ing bad, he just gets worse as the seasons go on. Maisie (Arya), Sophie (Sansa), and Isaac (Bran) are really great actors though. Dany is just a horrible actress in general. Hot when she speaks High Valyrian though.

Yeah, Arya and Sansa look spot on. I'll have to see how Sansa develops as her character changes, but she's played her part very well so far.

I also feel like it's going to be tougher to like Jaime as the show goes on as it was in the books. They made him especially douchey in the show.

Oh no, you'll be surprised at Jaime's progression. Nikolaj is really great as Jaime and he plays Jaime's transition to the T.

You've read all the books, right?

Yeah, I have. Jaime actually became my favourite character in the books so I'm hoping to see a similar progression in the show.

Jaime is probably my second favourite character (after my girl Sansa) and I can definitely say that you won't be disappointed. He really does it justice and I was really hoping that he wouldn't **** it up. Him and Brienne's relationship is perfectly done too, they have excellent chemistry onscreen. My mom, who hasn't even read the books, even ships them now, and she originally hated Jaime.
Jaime x Brienne is one of my favourite things about the series so thank god they didn't **** it up. They even did the bathtub scene a lot better than I expected it to be, and that's one of my favourite scenes in the book.

Daario still pisses me off though, he's so bland. Season 3 is really shaping up to be the best season so far, besides all that ****. Although they ruined Catelyn and a lot of the other women characters by making them very flat characters, which is pretty depressing since they're so well written in the books.
