No, like Thom Yorke said it's weird that they were humanising him so much and it's pretty much OOC because he never acts warmly to people.

I'm just seeing this now.

Actually, the show makes him a multi-dimensional character rather than a good v. evil cardboard cutout.

True but the same can't be said for other characters which ****s it up to me, except for maybe Cersei

She's more of a sympathetic character in the tv show than in the books and I'm glad they changed that up
