Ok, but Braavos isn't really an origin city. Its like a transplant port. What color did you expect him to be?

also I think they're really making Oberyn kind of a flat character, he's not just some hyper sexual macho douche, I mean he's also obviously smart as **** since he was starting to forge a chain at the Citadel ffs

I got spoiled but based off of what happens to him soon. I don't think they care to show any other side of him on the show itself.

I think Oberyn's portrayal is pretty spot on. I mean he's pretty sex obsessed but I don't think that makes him look dumb, he looks more open-minded and level headed than most of the characters on the show. His wit has been pretty razorsharp especially in his exchange with Cersei at The Purple Wedding.

Tru but witty is one thing, being able to forge a link at the Citadel is another. I mean intellectually he totally is above Tyrion even but the show doesn't show that

I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELS ABOUT HOUSE MARTELL OK

I don't know, I think they'll reveal it later. One of my favourite things about Oberyn is the stuff we find out about him after this season (snake in the grass for example)

They explained he studied posions, he was fairly interogative (word?) in the trial, and he was found writing poetry in the garden. What do you want him to be shown as? Kicking around with the Pyromancers and a chem set?

Your demands on bankers and princes are out of line, madame. They are out of line.
