Also when I saw Braavos in the opening sequence I totally thought it was going to be Arya getting on the Titans Daughter so I am really bummed by that

I think they might cut that out. Its such a boring storyline that I doubt it will go to the show, and in the event that it does, it will likely be really redone.

Also, regarding your first quote, I think you've imagined more about Oberyn than is actually in the books. I don't recall him being a PhD candidate, not having as much sex as you're suggesting.
