Up to the second book. I've waited for Stannis to appear and I'm really liking him already. I don't know if he's only in the prelude but he's just my kind of character. Kind of stern, strong and somewhat honourable but contemptuous (I don't blame him with all the **** they pulled). Kind of like an angry version of Eddard. I think he may quickly become a favourite character and he's really interesting in what he may do.

I dislike Renly so far by the way.

I liked Stannis even before he came into the series, a true hardman in every aspect.

Strange about Renly, he's just an average character with not too much to like or dislike about him.
