I found the books to be kind of dull (I mean, a page and half to describe the food?)
Still read four, so far, so... it's all %. I liked it. But, the HBO series is good. I'll wait till the 4th season ends, and then binge. |

I find the books can be really tedious at times. Maybe it's because I haven't passed the second book (I hear book 3 is the best) but the story line is worth the read. I agree that it gets overly descriptive at times. I feel myself saying "ok ok get to the good part already." The wait however after that becomes satisfying.
