I played this all day like a bum, counting down the minutes to the Breaking Bad finale

And Anderson Silva would break her in two because women are in general not as strong or as physically domineering as men. You're confusing the issue anyway. Nobody is saying that a woman can't kick a dude's ass, we're saying that having a female lead in a role as a violent criminal wouldn't be convincing. Putting up one extreme example is meaningless.

Personally I wouldn't mind. I loved being a female character in Saint's Row, but I can certainly imagine in a game more concerned with a realistic storyline that it would be distracting to see a female character in the role of a violent mobster for many people.

I put up an example that matches your silly example they are both meaningless.

Who says that she even has to be a violent mobster though? They could take it in a completely different direction or just make her an assassin. There are violent spies and assassins that are female.

I just don't get why people feel like it's just a super stretch and also why does it have to be based off of being "realistic or convincing" when it's a fictional character!!

So...have a GTA character that isn't a violent criminal? Okay...

And what "violent spies and assassins" are you referring to? We're talking about real people so Electra doesn't count.

Because the ratio of violent female criminals to violent male criminals is very disproportionate. Simple as that.

Why are you so stuck in reality for a fictional game?

What does reality have to do with a fictional character that you can make as violent as you want?

What's wrong you with guys that you can't think outside of the box?

They have those female characters, in other video games where the protagonist is an assassin or spy. We're talking about GTA here.

And I like my GTA games realistic in some aspects and unrealistic in others, it's not black and white but shades of grey. GTA IV was too realistic, Saints Row is too over the top, V is that happy balance.

Highly disappointing. Since I don't care about playing GTA tennis, yoga, or triathlons, etc, AND I find most of the vehicle-based missions tedious and boring, this game to me is at least as bad as GTA 4 (which is okay in my opinion).

I was excited by all the hype but I just don't get it. This article is the first piece of writing about the game that resonates with me:

Grand Theft Auto V review: A rebel game that forgot how to be transgressive.

I don't agree with that at all, one of the best parts about GTA V has been it's mission variety

agree that the tennis and yoga are useless but they take up what, 5 minutes, of a 40 hour experience? And I thought the triathlon was fun
