One of the more recent films for me is:

A Karate Kid 25 years + later.

I can't drive and I have no real interest in cars but the Fast and Furious films are great fun. I know they are preposterous but I watch enough films and have enough knowledge of films to distance myself from any disdain you can throw at me.
