I said he was baking something that was meant as as joke and percieved as a joke by the vast majority of his audience... As opposed to going on a vindictive vendetta because a few people criticized his last special

Is it meant to primarily be funny, or just shoe horned in to be insulting to specific enemies?
Because the PROPER response of a comedian against their critics is to fire back on stage in a funny way. That's their only appropriate weapon.
