To say art can't be interactive is to have an incredibly reductive view of art. In modern art there's a big push towards actually engaging both in and with the material. Art doesn't only encompass paintings and sculpture these days, in the digital age anything is possible.

I think Nintendo did such a good job on creating the overworld for Super Mario 3D world. I mean...

Speaking of Mario, Yoshi's Island was hands down the best looking SNES Mario game. Possibly the best looking SNES game period. Also a totally underrated game.

^Many many fond memories of Yoshi's Island. One of my all time favorite games as a kid. I always found the art style to be very cute. It fit the game really well.

Probably my favorite game of all time. The nostalgia is great, but the fantastic art, gameplay and stellar soundtrack helps too.

No. No it doesn't. Donkey Kong looked great, don't get me wrong, but it never had half the character that made Yoshi's Island feel so alive.
