I forgot I made this thread.

El Topo by Jodorowsky is probably your best best but I'd also check out Bone Tomahawk even though it's violent and also Paris, Texas for a more west texas modern western feel albeit being a drama.

Other good ones could include The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Slow West, and Young Ones.

Go with El Topo though. That's your best rec from me.

Dead Man's Bones

Brilliant fucking film, I've seen it dozens of times. Paddy Considine does an amazing job, as with any movie he's in. Engrossing story, a few twists, brutal violence at some points, just incredible. I recommend it to anybody, but especially Exo and Chula I'm sure you two will eat that shit up.

Funny, IIRC Chula has been championing this film for a while now. I've also seen it and enjoyed it very much. Have you seen Tyrannosaur? Different kind of movie but SO GOOD.
