Sparks saved my life. When I discovered them I was so far down the rabbit hole of depression I wasn't sure if I was going to survive. I have a whole story behind that, but I'll spare you. Singing along to their songs was therapeutic and fun as hell.

Maybe you'd be a fan of their more recent work? The falsetto is mostly absent.

Mmm...maybe. I'd say it stands out enough to be enjoyable. If you like Sparks you'll probably dig it.

I bought the first LP on vinyl. It's red. :) The lyrics are brilliant, musicianship beyond perfect. I just love the lush marriage of Franz Ferdinand and Sparks. A match made in musical heaven.

First LP as in serial number 001? Because that's pretty ****ing awesome, regardless of what vinyl it is. If not, are you referring to the first pressing?

I mean, first LP as in, I bet there will be another! :) I have many optimistic feelings about the future of FFS.
